Zakanne gets a cooling vest & a squeaky toy!

I ordered Zak a cooling vest because he's not supposed to overheat. This works great! We bought it for $35.99 from North Coast Pets. There is no difference between the Cool K-9 cooling vest and the Cool K-9II cooling vest except for color and $3 difference.

Turns out there are more water absorbing crystals on one side than the other so it hangs sideways a little, but the company is going to send us a replacement FREE!

Hi Everyone!

Zakanne is 7.5 months old and weighs 75 pounds. We participated in an IABCA show held near my home this past weekend. Zak did great for his first show!

Show #1: 2nd in Breed

Show #2: Best of Breed and 3rd in Herding Group

Show #3: Best of Breed and 2nd in Herding Group

Show #4: Best of Breed and 2nd in Herding Group

and he won Reserve Best in Show Rare Breed Puppy!

Zakanne is 6 months old!

Here's Zak at 6 months of age! His ears are trying to stay up now. He still has a bit of curl to the inner edges and his left ear waves at us when he trots, but he's trying! Look at that Shiloh tongue! He amazes me every day. Even though right now he's the size Kaiser was at 3 1/2 months, he's still my big beautiful boy!
